Inside the Fold

Now that I am solid on using WP for the foundational architecture and have researched and tested a few key plugins I have some freedom to consider the visual design.

I want the visual design to be compelling and evoke the look and feel of the books. Since the url for the site is already printed on the cover I have a lead to follow.

Visitors will be coming from ads, referrals, media referrals and consumers.

The author has written up a wonderful summary t o introduce the series. This content will be on the home page of the site and it is here I want to make sure there is a solid set of conversion paths. I want to provide a lot of links into the content, marketing information about the two tiles and a way for users to quickly visualize and jump into a particular bird info page.
