Getting the most out of Safari
Jun 8th, 2008 •I figured while I am on the topic of de-bugging I would share with you a set of tools for Safari one of my co-workers introduced me to called Multi-Safari.

I have not experienced to many issues with Safari but recently I have a DOM issue that I would not have been able to detect with my install of Safari 3.1.1. As most of us know seeing is believing and after I installed Multi-Safari I sadly believed.
Some background: My co-worker had asked me to help her develop a way to display “look insides” for Chronicle Books titles with a simple set of thumbnails and a viewport. I had a few examples I already used in previous projects that I was able to hand off to her.
It seemed all was fine until we viewed the url with Safari 2.1.1 and we noticed the viewer only worked on the first click and then became frozen. At first I assumed it was the javascript but after reviewing it with my codebase it was unlikely.
